Walter Perez has been studying Argentine Tango and Latin dances since 1992. He has trained in various styles and techniques with renowned Tango instructors such as Juan Carlos Copes, Graciela Gonzalez and Rodolfo Dinzel. His style and skill have been broadened with the integration of techniques used in ballet, jazz, modern dance and acting.

Walter has performed with several dance companies, art centers and theaters. This has contributed to his enhanced skill on stage. Walter has participated in several TV variety shows and special events. He worked as choreographer and choreographer’s assistant for several companies and shows and can be seen currently in a national commercial for Coldwell Banker. He joined the staff of Dance Manhattan in 2001.
